These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by The Tech Co (‘we’ , ‘our’ or ‘us’). By booking or using our onsite computer repair and IT support services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

Services Provided
We provide computer repair, IT support, troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and
related technical services for computers, networks, and peripheral devices.


Services may include:
– Computer and laptop repair
– Software installation and troubleshooting
– Virus and malware removal
– Network and internet setup
– Data backup and recovery assistance
– Hardware upgrades and installation
– Microsoft 365 and cloud service setup


Services may be provided onsite, remotely, or at our workshop depending on the issue.

Appointments and Access
Customers must ensure our technicians have safe and reasonable access to equipment
requiring service.


You agree to:
– Provide accurate information about the technical issue
– Provide access to devices and networks where required
– Ensure someone over 18 is present for onsite services if required.


We may refuse service if the environment is unsafe or illegal activity is suspected.

Service Fees and Payment
Fees may include call‑out charges, hourly labour, hardware or software costs, and additional service fees where applicable.

Payment may be required upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed.

Diagnostic time may still be charged even if the issue cannot be resolved.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice where possible. Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a service fee.

Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for maintaining backups of important data before services are performed and ensuring devices are legally owned. While we take reasonable care, we are not responsible for data loss during repair processes.

Data and Privacy
During service we may access your systems or files where necessary to diagnose issues. All customer information is treated as confidential. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Your Company Name] will not be liable for data loss, business interruption, loss of profits, or indirect damages. Liability is limited to the value of the services provided. Nothing in these terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Warranty on Services
Due to the complexity of computer systems and third‑party software, we cannot guarantee all issues will be permanently resolved. Hardware warranties are subject to the
manufacturer’s terms.

Third‑Party Software
We may install or recommend third‑party software. We are not responsible for the performance, reliability, or security of third‑party products.

Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website.

Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and the state in which services are provided.
